Legal Notice – Comment/Consultation
The Jasper County School District is preparing grant applications for the 2010-11 school year under the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 – the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT OF 2001 (Public Law 107-110) and other federal, state, and foundation programs. Grant proposals may be written for:
_X__Title I - Parts A-I - Improving Academic Achievement
___Title II – Parts A-D - Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High Quality Teachers and Principals
__X_Title III – Parts A-B - Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient and Immigrant Students - Private schools are welcome to participate in receiving services for their students.
___Title V – Parts A-D – Promoting Innovative Programs
___Title VI – A-B – Flexibility and Accountability
__X_Title VIII – Impact Aid
___Title IX – General
___Perkins Vocational Education Act, School to Work Opportunities Act, Individuals with Disabilities Act,
